Cogent Energy is looking for bright and motivated mechanical or
electrical engineers with 3 to 5 years experience in the energy
efficiency or commissioning industry. The candidate’s
responsibilities would involve project engineering activities
for energy consulting, commissioning and design projects,
including the following:
Site visits for collecting data from commercial and
industrial facilities
Energy efficiency analysis of buildings and campuses
Testing and commissioning of building systems ·
Organizing and writing reports
HVAC and cogeneration systems design
Project Management depending on experience
The successful
candidate shall have the ability to clearly communicate thoughts
and concepts in writing and orally. Candidates shall have at
least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering with an understanding of building systems,
psychometrics and HVAC. Expertise with Excel and database
programming is required and experience with Word, building
simulation programs and AutoCAD is preferred. P.E registration
or E.I.T is preferred.
